This Social Neuroscience COIL course is a unique hybrid collaborative learning experience between Universidad Diego Portales (UDP) and Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) that will be held the second semester of 2024, open now for enrolment for students of Psychology and Medicine at UDP. You will be able to join around 30 international students from Indiana University Bloomington, in a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) format in the context of classes led by Dr. Alejandra Rossi from UDP and Dr. Aina Puce from IUB.
Over the semester, students will explore topics such as non-verbal communication, prosocial behavior, emotional contagion, and Theory of Mind. Key activities include synchronous and asynchronous discussions, including lectures, student-led debates, and group discussions on scientific articles. This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of social neuroscience, enhance intercultural competence and offer formal academic credits upon completion.
